I never beleived Riis for an instant. What disappoints me is Zabel. I always rooted for that dude.
As much of an "idol", "icon", "hero", whatever you want to call him, I don't believe for one second that LA was clean either.
As you very eloquently stated, entertain me. Otherwise, I just don't care anymore.
One of my favoriate TDF moments was watching Riis fly into a Roid rage during the TT in '97.
